Teddy Update

So we met Teddy in person on Saturday - he is perfect! He's really freaked out by the pound - so much so that he's lost a lot of weight and he's started drooling. Poor guy. He has a pretty bad upper respiratory infection, too. We have to get him out of there and healthy! We put in an application to adopt Teddy, so keep your fingers crossed!

I put his picture up on a dog website to try to figure out what breed he is and a little bit more about what his personalitty might be like. Here's what they had to say: http://forum.dog.com/asp/tm.asp?m=132513

Round Here

From the moment we got tickets to the Counting Crows concert at Nissan Pavilion, I had Dave Ravikoff on my mind. In true Adam Zissman style, we got to the show ridiculously early. And, as we wandered aimlessly trying to figure out how we would kill the hour and a half before the opening act would go on, I saw a familiar shape in the distance. Yep, you guessed it - Dave Ravikoff.

For those of you who know him, you'll be happy to learn that he's found his kwan. He's working in the music industry for Warner Brothers and is touring with the Goo Goo Dolls (who are on tour with Counting Crows). Anyway, we hung out, caught up, made fun of Flounder from afar, and watched him work - which was pretty surreal. (If you want to catch up with Dave, his AIM name is DavidRavikoff.)

He was taking a bunch of radio contest winners and fan club members to "meet & greet" the Goo Goo Dolls - and he gave us wristbands and took us in, too. We're not really big fans of the Goo Goo Dolls or anything, so we felt guilty about getting to meet them, but it was pretty fun.

You should see this John Reznik's chin dimple in person - it's cavernous! I think it's safe to say he has more "product" in his hair than I've ever used in my life. The bassist (on the left) was actually really down to earth and nice. After seeing them live, he's definitely my favorite of the two.
